Inawera Custard

inawera custard

Custards translate well to vaping, adding a dairy richness that can be enjoyed in numerous flavour profiles. Generally, the downside is they require extra long steep times, however, in the case of Inawera’s offering, this is not an issue.

Overview

This is one of my favourite custards as it’s easy to work with and there are no overpowering notes. I find it well balanced. This is another custard that pairs nicely with fruits and bakery, although I’ve used it often in various fusions with tobaccos, coffees and alcohols. Due to its usefulness, I’d consider this a must have.

Flavour Description – Notes

A bright, creamy, smooth sweet custard with some soft citrus notes and a nice balance of egg and vanilla, although the egg aspect is far lighter than Capellas.

There’s a touch of lemony-rind and very subtle berry notes, as well as alcohol here, along with a caramel-sugary-malt flavour from the Maltol. There’s also a slight backend cinnamon/bark spice with a camphor finish.
