Vaporesso Swag 80 Watt TC Kit

vaporesso swag mod

Overview - Suitability

A terrific kit (mostly) comprised of the Swag mod and NRG SE sub ohm tank. The mod is rated up to 80 watts and offers Temperature Control for those that wish it. It utilises replaceable 18650 batteries (yeah) and offers a variety of output modes. The NRG S.E. is a 3.5 ml capacity sub ohm tank that takes a number of coils from various manufacturers, including the packaged CCELL GT ceramic cores. These are rated at 0.4 and 0.5 ohm.

In terms of suitability, I’d have to say it’s geared toward vapers with a moderate knowledge, as well as veteran vapers. There are Issues with the menu system that make it unsuitable for both the elderly and many beginners. Let’s also add those that are unwilling to devote the time to learn the menu system, and or those wanting a more straightforward interface.

Update on Coils:
I recently purchased some excellent coils from The Steamery- The Flow Sub Ohm coils, rated at 35-60 watts. Kanthal Parallel Dual Coil 0.25 ohm Coils for Variable Wattage. They don’t chew up the juice like the CCELL Coils and so far, they seem to last longer too. Wotofo Flow Coils

The coils for the Smok Baby Beast Tank are also compatible, although I haven’t tried them yet.

Complete specs are on the Vaporesso Website.

Menu System Error

From time to time, and it does appear to be random, the device automatically goes from wattage mode to temperature control. This is an issue because the coils used for the supplied NRG tank are not TC compatible. Thankfully this occurs only once a month or so, and I’ve concluded that my unit is probably faulty. It’s still a damn good vape though.

The following vendors are selling the Swag Kit. Average cost is around $60.00

The Steamery
Victory Vape
Wick & Wire
Vape Street

I purchased mine from Vape Street.

As you can guess I like this mod and it’s always in the rotation at home. Flavour is very good and although the CCELL coils soak up the juice, thankfully the Flow Tank coils are available.

I saw an orange mod and thought why not? I’m glad I did., for the most pat anyway.
