So far, a superb Pod System
I was looking for a newer Pod System to try and was aware of the good reviews on this one. I grabbed mine from Vapeking in Sydney.
I’ve only had this about 5 days so will update within the next week or so, and so far both Megan and I think this is a winner. It may well be our favourite Pod system.
It’s nice to see USB C Charging, and charges in about an hour. The vape quality is terrific and we love the AFC slide control. A bonus for some may be the dual inhale – either push the button or auto draw, both work well.
This device would be perfect for light to medium smokers looking to make the switch. However, heavier smokers, as well as current vapers, always need a secondary unit and this may be the ticket.
Back with more soon..
There's much to love... so I bought a secondary unit.
The device has been faultless, it vapes extremely well, offers good flavour and best of all…IT NEVER LEAKS! It’s very lightweight-portable, well made, and so simple to use – Although I’ve been on the fence about having to replace the whole Pod when a coil dies, this can be an advantage, especially for the elderly or those who have issues with their hands. Also, given that one can pay $4 for just a coil, $4.50 for the whole Pod with coil, well, it’s really a bargain.
- Excellent Performance
- Light weight-portable
- Quick charging-USB-C
- Excellent Coils
- Great Flavour
- Good Vapour Production
- Very Simple To Use
- Mimics Smoking Very Well
- No adjustable power output (Not an issue really)
- A bit too restricted for direct lung users
- Battery life at 800mAh a tad too low but acceptable
- No other justifiable issues
Closing Thoughts - Price
There’s little doubt that this is a wonderful Pod system for the price of around $36. I much prefer the 0.8 coil-pod as it allows for 16 watts, as opposed to the 1.2 ohm which only offers 11 watts.
For some time now, I’ve been enjoying the Smok Nord Pod 2 systems, and although they leak (there is a fix), I just love the vape quality, and I normally enjoy vaping at around the 20-25 watt mark. I mention this only because someone who is used to vaping above the wattage that the XROS is capable of, well, it may take a while to get used to the lower output.
However, one can adapt, and considering all the pluses of this unit, AND the fact that it never, never leaks, it’s a no brainer. Besides, it’s a really handy dandy unit when you have to vape at the back of the bus. Grab one, this is a keeper!
